Free click speed tests for competitive gamers

Can You Click It? is a collection of free browser-based click speed and reaction tests designed for competitive gamers β€” especially Minecraft PvP players where clicking speed, spacebar timing, and reaction speed all directly affect your performance. No downloads, no logins, no ads cluttering the test area. Choose a test, pick your time, and see where you rank.

How the tests work

Every test runs entirely in your browser β€” nothing to download, no account to create. Each one measures a different input skill: the CPS test counts clicks per second over a time limit you choose, the reaction test averages five attempts to cancel out lucky guesses, and the typing test calculates words per minute from correctly typed characters only. Your scores are saved locally on your device so you can track improvement over time, and nothing is uploaded unless you choose to submit a score to a leaderboard.

There are two versions of the site: desktop tests built for mouse and keyboard, and mobile tests built for touchscreens β€” tap speed, swipe speed, two-thumb alternation and more. The site detects your device and shows the right set, and you can switch between them at any time.

The rank system

Every test grades your result on a 20-level ladder, from LEVEL 01 (STATUS: AFK) all the way to LEVEL 20 (ROOT ACCESS GRANTED). The thresholds are calibrated per test β€” 8 CPS is a solid clicking score, but 8 taps per second on a phone is a different challenge entirely. Ranks are meant to be honest, not flattering: most people land in the middle of the ladder on their first attempt, and climbing the top five levels takes genuine practice or an advanced technique.

Leaderboards

Each test has a daily and an all-time leaderboard. After a test you can submit your score with a display name and see where you place worldwide β€” entries show score, country, and test duration so you're always comparing like with like. No sign-up needed.

FAQ

What does CPS mean?

CPS stands for clicks per second β€” your total clicks divided by the test duration. It's the standard measure of clicking speed in gaming, especially in Minecraft PvP where click speed affects how many hits you can land.

What is a good CPS score?

The average is 6–7 CPS with regular clicking. Above 8 is good, competitive Minecraft PvP players typically hit 10–14, and anything above 14 with a standard technique is exceptional. Techniques like jitter clicking and butterfly clicking can push scores well beyond that β€” see our full benchmarks for the honest breakdown.

Are browser-based tests accurate?

Yes, within practical limits. Clicks and taps are timestamped by your browser with millisecond precision, which is more than enough resolution for CPS and reaction measurements. Reaction time results do include your hardware's input and display latency β€” that's why we average five rounds, and why comparing scores on the same device matters more than raw numbers.

How do I improve my scores?

Technique beats raw effort. Our guides cover how to click faster, how to type faster, and how to tap faster on mobile, plus game-specific guides for Minecraft, Valorant, CS2, osu! and more that explain how much speed actually matters in each game β€” and when it doesn't.
